Biography
Hi, I am Jack Ackers, owner and plasterer at Ackers Plastering & Drywall Services and therefore, run a small plastering & drywall business in Norwich and surrounding areas.
Originally, I was a dry-liner with a few years experience of working on housing and commercial sites and as a consequence, boarding and framing out walls and ceilings.
As a result, I have now spent several years as a plasterer after taking a course to firstly, gain more experience and secondly, expand my business. Subsequently, most of my plastering experience has been on small sites, in houses and some commercial sites too.
Working practices
As you can imagine, plastering can be a messy job. Importantly, as a visitor to my customer’s homes, I am vigilant of any mess that I create and of course, will do my best to minimise the mess where possible. As a prority, I treat my customers homes with respect and courtesy and make sure to always clean up the work area upon completing the job, resulting in leaving it just as neat as it was before I arrived, as it should be.
